Nursery Outdoor Learning and Forest School Adventures

24th Mar 2023

We were all very excited when the snow came and we spent most of the day outside exploring. We made snow castles using buckets and spades, we transported the snow in buckets and carts, we made mini snowmen and we even developed our throwing skills by throwing snowballs. We loved our special snow day and loved painting the snow a variety of colours. We are continuing to have lots of exciting Forest School adventures. This week we read Little Bear and discussed how the bears came out of hibernation in the Spring. We decided to make dens for our toy bears using natural materials. We worked together in groups sharing ideas and planning how to keep the bears cosy and sheltered. All of our dens looked amazing! We were so proud of them.
