During our first few weeks of P3 we have been busy learning all about our bodies! We have enjoyed drawing skeletons with chalk outside. We used posters to help us position the bones correctly. When we came back into our classroom we had great fun dancing along to the ‘Skeleton Dance’ song.
This week we looked at famous portraits such as the Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci. We looked closely at our own faces and made self portraits of ourselves! We loved doing this outside in the sunshine under one of our beautiful oak trees. We enjoyed looking at and appreciating the work of artists and examining the content and methods used. We used some of this information when making our own self portraits.
