Our school grounds are looking beautifully autumnal just now and the boys and girls in P3 have really enjoyed getting outside and taking inspiration from the natural world right on our doorstep. We went on an Autumn scavenger hunt and drew pictures in chalk of the things we found. We also made pictures of one of our favourite book characters, Mr Twit, using natural materials, and for homework, we took lovely photos of the wonderful things we found on a nature walk. Our favourite thing to do when we’re outside is to try to be quiet and watch out for the Dundela squirrels!
