This term we have been studying the topic of transport. We had a discussion about how we could use transport to link into our numeracy topic. Within Numeracy we have been learning about different units of measurement. The children came up with a great idea of making paper aeroplanes and measuring how far they travelled in our playground using metre sticks. The children recorded their results on whiteboards. We had great fun discussing what a fair test was and working out whose plane flew the furthest! ✈️
