Celebrating ‘Outdoor Classroom Day’ on Thursday 4th November allows us the perfect opportunity to give our parents a little insight into our fabulous school grounds and outdoor spaces that our Dundela children enjoy every day!

The benefits of playing and learning outdoors are widely recognised:

• Children make more connections with the topics they are studying.
• They show an appreciation of the nature around them, taking more care of the plants and creatures they encounter.
• They engage in more self-directed play and have more positive interactions with one another.
• They develop their imaginative, thinking and problem-solving skills.
